Cosmo-Not Tonight Honey!

First off - I love this name!!

OPI's Cosmo-Not Tonight Honey! was originally released as a part of the Russian Collection in 2007,  but has since been added to the Classics collection. I bought this polish because of the name, as silly as that is! The bottle colour is very pretty and classy, as it is on the nail. This colour reminds me of OPI's Sand in my Suit, but this one is a lot more sheer.

Cosmo-Not Tonight Honey! is a metallic finish, which means that I was expected some stroke marks. This colour is a soft champagne with silver shimmers. Even after three coats the polish was very sheer and visible nail line was apparent. The colour is really pretty though, so I didn't mind the sheerness as much as I thought I would.

I can see myself reaching for this colour for events where I have to be a bit more professional, say an interview. For everyday wear, I do prefer an opaque, brighter colour.

Would you wear a sheer shade if you adored the colour?
