OPI Ink.

So I'm really starting to continually reach for fall shades! I still love my pinks and purples, but I guess it's just the change of seasons right now that's making me opt for darker polishes.
Today I have OPI Ink. to share with all of you :) I have already shown a comparison of OPI Ink. and Russian Navy here.
This shade always surprises me by how beautiful it is! This is a deep navy shade, but never verges on being black. There are also some deep purple undertones, making it more of an "inky" colour. There is quite a bit of shimmer in this polish, but it is not too overwhelming, at it is definitely not a glitter polish. This polish took three coats for full opacity, and did not leave any staining on my nails when used with OPI Original Nail Envy (I assume this would be the case with a normal base coat as well).

3 coats, no top coat

I think that this is a great shade for transitioning into the colder seasons of fall and winter. The deep colour isn't too much of a leap from the summery shades, and the shimmer helps to brighten up the colour.

What do you think of this shade? Do you wear colours based on the season or do you just wear whatever shades you want, whenever you want?

  3. Always been one of my favs - it was the first blue I learned to really like. I was late to get into anything but a blue/black or a pale blue.
