This was the colour that I was most excited about from this collection from the promo pics. Let's see if this colour lived up to my expectations or not...
Road House Blues is a deep navy creme, but it doesn't creep into the "almost black" territory. I think that this colour would be great to layer over. I'm excited to try I Juggle...Men and Last Friday Night over top of this shade of navy.
Application of this polish was perfect, only two coats were needed for full opacity. I sometimes have a problem of cremes dragging at the cuticle, therefore creating bald spots, and I am happy to say that I did not have this problem with Road House Blues! So far, the colours that I have used from the Touring America collection have all applied very well. This collection has surprised me!

What are your thoughts on this polish? What polishes would you layer over Road House Blues?
Ooo I really like that =] I thought it was black at first in the top picture you have posted.
ReplyDeleteI like it! I love blues, though. Never met a blue I didn't like :-p
ReplyDeleteI love all of the OPI deep blues, they are very rich and sophisticated!
ReplyDeleteSo dark ! Love it!
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've ever used a dark blue. I did get OPI's Lincoln Park After Dark and I think I am more of a metallic dark than a matte dark kind of girl.
ReplyDeleteBTW I found you on the Monday Beauties Blog Hop from Nykki's Mane Blog :)
@NailPolishEpicness - It does look very dark without a flash, but in any form of light you can definitely tell that it's navy and not black!
ReplyDelete@Fashion Footing and nailbird - I also love blue as a nail colour!
@Shannyn - So happy that you found my blog :) I love Lincoln Park After Dark, but I know that deep colours like that aren't for everyone. Dark metallics are also beautiful :)
After seeing that shade in the second photo you posted; I definitely want! It's gorgeous. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm following you now. I found your lovely blog through Nykki's Beauties Blog Hop :)
xo
Welcome to my blog Sarirah! Glad you found me :)
ReplyDeleteI am soooo in love with this shade! I wish I had decided to put this on my toes last night when I did them vs. the Zoya Marina which I like a lot - but it needs to be thinned down for some odd reason. Never had that probably with a NEW Zoya before.
ReplyDeleteI am new here also! Have seen your name before and finally said I need to follow!
Your nails look great! I love this rich, dark blue :)
