Pepe's Purple Passion

Happy Thanksgiving to all of my Canadian readers! The weather took a gorgeous change for the better for this long weekend, which was very much welcomed after the rainy weather we've had this past week. I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend, and if you have today off as a holiday, I hope you're enjoying the long weekend!

Now on to the polish :)

Pepe's Purple Passion looks gorgeous in the bottle and immediately drew me in. The promo pics for this colour did nothing for me, and I will admit that I totally forgot about this shade until I saw it in person. But don't pass this one up! Pepe's Purple Passion is a deep burgundy-red with shimmery flecks throughout the polish. I normally don't like many red polishes, but this one leans much more towards the purple side, and since it includes some form of shimmer, I'm in!

Application: I started with one coat of Original Nail Envy (I think this product is really working for me!), then two coats of Pepe's Purple Passion, which resulted in complete coverage. I then added a layer of OPI's Top Coat, which added extra shine. Removal of this lacquer was easy enough, not like the glitters in this collection. The shimmer in this polish did not add any difficulty to the removal!

I think that this shade will be perfect for fall/winter - it's not too dark and I love the shimmer and shine!
What shades will you be wearing as we transition into fall/winter?

  2. This is such a gorgeous colour for Autumn. I love it! I bought a polish which looked similar to this in the bottle but unfortunately, it was alot brighter on my nails. :(

  3. I love this! It's very on trend for all the boozy burgundy and red shades around at the moment. The shimmer is really pretty too
