Are We There Yet?

Are We There Yet? is a shade from OPI's Touring America Collection. OPI described it as a melon shade: "Don’t make me reach back there and take that perfect melon shade!"
I'm not normally one to opt for shades that are anywhere near being in the orange family, but I liked the shimmer in this one! This polish has pink and gold micro-shimmer that I find to be a lot more noticeable in the bottle than it is on the nail. I used two coats for full opacity, and added one coat of OPI's Top Coat for added shine and durability.
Are We There Yet? is a nice alternative to a plain orange colour. I found this shade to compliment my skin tone, as opposed to making me look pale or washed out. I do wish that the shimmer was noticeable on the nail, as this would make this shade even more wearable, in my opinion.

What are your favourites from OPI's Touring America collection?

Disclosure: This product was sent to me for my honest review.

  1. I liked this shade, but found I like it a lot more if it had more visible shimmer in it. So I tend to usually put a thin layer of an older Essie micro gold shimmer over it. Sometimes I put an all white clear shimmer over it made by Sally Hanson (forget which line it's from). I have a # of what I call 'flat' shades that need help. I have played a lot this fall with the Revlon scented fizz shades to add just something subtle to them. The one that works the best for me is the blue one ... called Pina Colada. Really worth anyone picking up now on sale or off 2nd market. It does just the tish that so many polishes need or gives a pick up mid polish change no matter what the base shade is. Pina Colada and Watermelon to me have been the ones I have used the most. But some of the other shades have fun in them too over fall & winter deeper shades.

  3. @ Beachgal - I agree with you, and I might just have to try adding a shimmer polish over top next time I wear a polish like this! Thanks for the suggestion :)

Thanks so much for the kind comments Taylor and Susmi! :)
