Dr.'s Remedy RESOLUTION Red Glitter

Dr.'s Remedy RESOLUTION Red Glitter is one of the two glitter polishes from their Jolly & Joy Collection for Winter 2011. You can see my review for SERENE Silver Glitter here. I've been really impressed by these two shades!

I have to admit, the name of this polish doesn't quite make sense. Sure, there are pieces of red glitter in the polish, but I would never describe this polish as "red". At best it's a pink glitter, but that's even a bit of a stretch. RESOLUTION Red Glitter consists of a mixture of red, pink, silver, and copper glitter. This reminds me of a cousin of OPI's Teenage Dream, from the Katy Perry Collection. I love RESOLUTION Red Glitter because it is opaque! Again, this polish could almost get by with one coat, but I added a second for good measure. The removal of this polish wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, which was a wonderful surprise! I used OPI's Expert Touch Remover, and held the cotton ball on my nail for about 30 seconds, and that took off most of the polish.

I was really happy with this polish! I really like that Dr.'s Remedy is free from traditional toxins and enriched with natural ingredients! You can find out more about Remedy Nails here.

What are your thoughts on this polish? Do you care if the name of a polish is slightly misleading?

Disclosure: This polish was sent to me for my honest review.
