Ate Berries in the Canaries with Rainbow Connection

I hope everyone had a great weekend :) I can`t believe Christmas is already only a week away! I still have 3 final exams this week then I take the train home Friday, going to be a busy week for sure. Also, any Survivor fans out there? Finale tonight! I'm rooting for Sophie :)

I'm really in love with OPI's Rainbow Connection as a layering polish! I wasn't a huge fan of it by itself, but I find that it really jazzes up a lot of creme polishes. I decided to layer it over OPI's Ate Berries in the Canaries, from their fall 2009 Espana Collection. I will review this shade by itself later, but it is a beautiful purple-pink creme!

I used one coat of Rainbow Connection over top of two coats of Ate Berries in the Canaries, and I loved the results! Rainbow Connection really adds something extra to a plain mani. I'm kind of on a glitter kick right now, so I might be a bit biased. Even though I only had one coat of glitter, this mani was still a huge pain to remove! :(

I'm excited to layer Rainbow Connection over all sorts of colours, neutrals, darks, brights, everything! What has been your favourite combination with this polish? :) I would love it if you let me know in the comments!

  3. It looks great over the pink! I finally decided to order it yesterday, I couldn't decide for ages if I wanted it or not, so glad I got it now though! x

  5. Gorgeous combo. Very glam. :)
Personally, I like the idea of using Rainbow Connection for accent nails (packed on heavily) and a nude/neutral polish on the rest.
