Nicki Minaj Collection Round Up!

So now that I have reviewed each of the polishes in OPI's Nicki Minaj collection individually, I thought I should include them all in a single post!

First up, Save Me, a gorgeous silvery based polish with holographic bar glitter. This polish built up with three coats, and I also think that this would make an amazing layering polish. This was my favourite from the collection.

Next up, Metallic 4 Life, a rather sheer charcoal-black base packed with small and medium sized hexagonal glitter, creating an opaque finish in three coats. I really liked this polish!

Pink Friday is one of the three creme polishes in this collection. This polish is a great, vibrant barbie pink. The best part is that it's opaque in two coats! Finally an opaque light pink polish!

Fly is a medium bright blue creme polish. This polish is the perfect shade of blue for me without venturing into the neon category. Also, this blue polish didn't stain my nails! Opaque in two coats.

Did It On 'Em was my least favourite from the collection. This is a shade that you'll either love or hate, and the greenish yellow polish colour just isn't to my taste. This was the last of the three creme shades in the collection. I used three coats for full opacity.

Finally, there is a shatter to finish off the collection, Super Bass Shatter, a pretty, sparkly purple shatter polish. I layered it over Pink Friday, and I liked the combination! I found that Super Bass Shatter took a little bit longer to shatter than the other OPI shatters that I've tried, about 10-15 seconds. Not a huge deal!

Overall, the stand outs for me were Save Me and Fly, and I'm really wanting to layer them together! What are your favourites? :)

Disclosure: These polishes were provided to me for my honest review.

  1. There's something about this collection that makes me think of happiness. Maybe it is because the shades are so cheery. Gorgeous!

  3. I found some of the collection today. I really wanted to get save me but it was sold out. I ended up with pink Friday and fly. They are both fantastic. I put them on a color wheel to check coverage ( and because I had just painted my nails for tonight so didn't want to change it) I ended up painting my daughters nails with fly and put dots of pink Friday on an accent nail. I thought it turned out great. Can't wait to see what you come up wih for combos

  8. I have a couple of these. Unlike you - I was not at all happy with Metal 4 Life - you HAVE to put it over something and then it just looks like a hunky tarnished too big of chunks glitter to me. I have had fun with the creams and using my Nubar Poka Dot white and/or black polish over them.

    1. What did you end up layering Metallic 4 Life over? Ooh that sounds pretty! These cremes would be great for stamping over/nail art :)
