Thanks a Windmillion

Here is one of the shades from OPI's Holland Collection that looked very appealing to me right from the promo pictures! Thanks a Windmillion reminds me of a mix of OPI's Mermaids Tears and Stranger Tides, both from the Pirates Collection released Spring 2011. I will post a comparison soon!

Thanks a Windmillion is a creamy sea foam green that applies flawlessly, I couldn't be happier! First, I applied OPI's Ridge Filler, as I do every time I'm applying a creme polish. I then applied two coats of Thanks a Windmillion, and finished my mani off with OPI's Top Coat. I'm in love with this manicure! Perfect for spring, summer, fall, and winter! Thanks a Windmillion is a sort of muted, greyed-out sea foam green, but not at all boring. I think that this colour would look great on a wide variety of skin tones.

I LOVE this polish! Definitely a front runner for me from the Holland Collection. What do you think of Thanks a Windmillion?

OPI's Holland Collection will hit stores February 8th 2012!

Disclosure: I was provided Thanks a Windmillion and OPI's Top Coat for my honest review. I purchased OPI's Ridge Filler myself.

  3. This is one that I saw on a side by side comparison with Zoya's new spring 2012 collection 'Bevin." They were so very much alike they were almost pure dupes. OPI the blogger said had the better formula of the 2. I liked the OPI shade best seeing them side by side - OPI's is a bit dustier. Seems like we had to wait a long time for this collection to hit retail. I wonder what the issues will be when those who bought the entire Zoya collection see there are 2 dupes (i think it was 2 - maybe 3) in Zoya spring and the OPI Holland.

    1. I've never actually used a Zoya polish before! Hopefully those polishes aren't dead on dupes, or at least the formulas are different enough!
