Wooden Shoe Like to Know?

Wooden Shoe Like to Know? is a gorgeous chocolate brown shade with the same type of shimmer that is in I Don't Give a Rotterdam! and Dutch'Ya Just Love OPI?, which is gold, pink, and green microshimmer. I mostly see the gold shimmers, but in the light you can see the pink and green shimmers a lot more. I didn't think that I would love this shade as much as I do! Another surprise polish! Wooden Shoe Like to Know? is a polish is office appropriate, but isn't at all boring. The brown base of this polish reminds me slightly of OPI's Chocolate Moose, but I will have to compare them to really see how similar they are. Wooden Shoe Like to Know? has a pink based brown as the base, which is so gorgeous, in my opinion.

I used two coats of Wooden Shoe Like to Know? for full opacity. Application was flawless, no streaking, bald spots, and dragging at the cuticles. I added OPI's Top Coat for a shiny finish, which you can see in the pictures.

I love this shade! So far, OPI is really impressing me with this collection. What do you think of Wooden Shoe Like to Know? :)

Disclosure: Wooden Shoe Like to Know? and OPI's Top Coat were sent to me for my honest review.

  3. I like what I have seen swatch wise of this shade -- but hesitate once the collection is in retail to pick it up - it has a real redish cast from the coppery gold as well as in the brown. I have to be super careful when I see that kind of hue. It makes my hands look ruddy and old. It's way worse when it hits in an eye shadow on me - I look like I have been crying for an hr. Will use the try on nail spoons at the store to see what it does for my coloration when it's out before I really fall for it (or not). Thus far really looking forward to the really pretty sparkly pink and the dusty sparkly blue in this collection.

    1. I know what you mean, everyone has that one (or more than one!) colour that just doesn't look right on them! The nail spoons are a great way to test before buying :)
