Dr.'s Remedy BALANCE Brick

Today I decided to try out one of my untried Dr.'s Remedy polishes, and I decided on BALANCE Brick. I'm not really sure why they capitalize the entire first word of every polish, to be honest it's kind of annoying. But that's just my opinion!

BALANCE Brick is a deep red creme polish. If I'm going to wear a red polish, it either has to be glittery, or deep, so this one fit the last bill! This polish applied well, but on one of my nails I did get some dragging at the cuticle. I applied two coats for full opacity, and topped it off with a layer of top coat for added shine. I do think that some nails could have used a third coat, while others were alright with just two. I find this to be a common problem with most red polishes. Dr.'s Remedy polishes have quite thin brushes, and I would always rather have a wider brush, I find it makes application a lot easier.

Overall, I like the colour, but I have dupes in my stash that have better formulas, so I'm not sure if I will be wearing this polish again or not. What do you think of BALANCE Brick?

Disclosure: This product was sent to me for my honest review.

  1. I like how rich this red is but it sounds difficult to control which is not good when you are applying red as it easily stains. I like how the bottle looks though and your nails look great!

    1. Ya, I have better reds in my collection, so this one won't be getting much more use!
      Thanks! :)
