January Empties

Happy February everyone! Here is my first "empties" post, everything that I have used up in the month of January, I don't think I'm forgetting anything!

First up: Benefit High Beam, one of my all time favourite products! I will review this product soon, so I won't say too much here, but it is really amazing, and I use it everyday.
Verdict: I have already repurchased this product!

The next product is the eos Lip Sphere in Summer Fruit, again, I love this product! At first, I wasn't won over by it, but I ended up being addicted to this lip balm, using it multiple times per day. I like to use only one lip balm at a time, so I actually use them up, I'm not sure if that's weird or not?! You can see my original review of it here.
Verdict: I already have this product in other scents/flavours, so I won't be repurchasing the Summer Fruit one right now just by default. But if I didn't have the other flavours, I would definitely be repurchasing.

Vichy Lipidose Hands - Concentrated care for chapped hands with re-fibryl, 50ml. This is one product that I could live without. I'm not a fan of the way my hands feel after the product has sunk in, sort of powdery, and not very moisturised!
Verdict: I would not repurchase this product, I have other hand creams that I love a lot more.

Next up is The Body Shop's Buriti Baby Body Butter - I know, I am an adult, not a baby, but I still love this cream! This body butter just melts onto your skin, and leaves you feeling soft, with a very light fragrance.
Verdict: I do love this product, but I would probably only repurchase if I found it on sale. I like other body butters from The Body Shop more, namely Coconut!

Clinique's Lash Doubling Mascara in Black is up next! This is one of the samples that they give out with the gift with purchase bags! They say that this is a 14 day sample, but I find that it lasts me much longer than that, about 2-3 months! The sample is 4g, which is a lot of mascara.
Verdict: I would repurchase this mascara, I really liked it.

Lastly, I have Prescriptives "The Illuminator", which I believe was discontinued, as I can't find it on their site. This was a powder with three shades, a blush, bronzer, and light beige. I would blend the three shades together and I loved the results! Now I am only left with the bronzer, and I find that it doesn't look great on its own, so I am not using it.
Verdict: I would have repurchased if this was still available!

What have you used up in January? Let me know! :)

  4. I cannot get HighBeam to stay on my face...love the look it gives - look back in 2 hrs and it's gone.

Jan empties for me included: Jack Black lip balm tube,SV top coat, Barielle Intensive Nail Renewal Oil, Lights, Camera, Lashes (Tarte mascara), Perricone Neck Cream, a # of small tubes/bottles of hand/body lotion/cream I keep in my purse. Sure I missed a few small things that just are not jumping to the front of my mind. When things come in tubes, my aunt taught me when I was a kid to cut the tube in half, scoop out all the left over (and there is a lot) putting it all into one end of the cut tube...then slide the other half of the tube over the part that has the product in it. You generally have a good week or longer out of the product depending on what the product is.
