Julep Chloe

I was really, really excited to apply Julep Chloe! It is such a pretty polish in the bottle, and I couldn't wait to see if it translated to the nail. Let's see if it did...

Julep Chloe is a jelly polish with a black base with purple-pink fine glitter. I found this polish to be incredibly thick, making application a bit tricky. I only needed two coats for full opacity, but this polish dries very dull and flat, so you will need to apply a top coat to ensure a shiny finish. Unfortunately, on the nail the glitter doesn't translate well. I found that the glitter sort of gets lost in the black base. I hate when a polish disappoints!

At $14 a bottle (a small bottle at that, only 8mL/.27FL OZ), I wouldn't be repurchasing this polish. I bought Chloe with referral credits. What do you think of Julep Chloe? Let me know in the comments :)

  1. I think this is quite pretty! :D

  2. I'm yet to try a Julep, this one makes me want to though!

  3. Thats gorgeous! It reminds me of the purple polish Wet N Wild came out with for Halloween

  4. I had the exact same reaction to Chloe... I was really excited for that pink glitter but it just didn't show up as much as I would have liked. Oh well, mine was free too, lol.

    1. Can't really complain if it's free right!? aha :)

  5. I guess I'm in the minority because I don't like it at all. :(

Thank you so much for your lovely comments, I love each and every one! I reply to all comments, but if you need a quicker response tweet me @BeyondBlush11 or email me (
