Nicole by OPI - The Gold Shoulder

Hey everyone! Sorry for the lack of posts, I came down with the flu Tuesday night and I'm still recovering :( Tomorrow is my 20th birthday, so I'm hoping that I'm feeling a lot better by then!

I've been wearing Nicole by OPI's The Gold Shoulder since Monday night, and I don't have a single chip or any tip wear, so I'm really impressed with that! However, I've just been lying in bed the whole time, so it's not like I was doing anything that would lead to chips, but still!

The Gold Shoulder appeared to be a silver polish at first, but then I noticed that all of the gold was at the top of the bottle! So, I rolled the bottle in my hands, and the polish transformed into a silver based gold. I used two coats for full opacity. This polish is similar to OPI's Designer, de Better!, but I liked OPI's version better. I will do a comparison of these two shades soon :)

The Gold Shoulder is a Walmart Exclusive, so you can only pick it up there if you like it! What do you think of The Gold Shoulder?

  3. When I got the color home and was putting it on I looked at the bottomland was wondering if they had mislabeled it! So I googled it and your blog popped up! I just rolled it in my hands and really want to redo my nails to get them gold! Thanks for the tip!
