Care to Danse? is a pretty pale pink that is meant to be worn sheer. I used four coats of this shade, and it does not build in opacity. Care to Danse? is the perfect ballerina pink, which is very fitting given the collection it is in! Although, for me this shade just isn't special enough. My mom loves these types of colours, all she ever wears are sheer pinks! So I know that some people will absolutely love this colour, but it's not grabbing my attention. The formula was great, the coats dried very quickly, which made for fast application.
This milky sheer pink would be a great neutral nail if you are planning to wear a dramatic outfit, or wear bright make up and don't want to overdo it. The New York City Ballet Collection will be available this April in salons and spas. Will you be picking this one up?
Disclosure: This polish was sent to me for my honest review.
Everyone needs one of these in their stash but that's about all one needs I think these days. I am not seeing the color on my monitor between the white balance washing out the pink in this pale one & the bounce off the powder blue background - that for me, bleeds though gray/blue into what I am sure is pink. I am still clinging on to some of my OPI black label sheers. I think the formula was much better back then for sheers. However they do have a serious fade or turn yellow over time.
ReplyDeleteI agree, one is all you really need, unless all you wear are sheers! The pink is really faint, the milky white aspects are very pronounced. I have since added Pirouette My Whistle, a glitter also from the collection, over top and it makes the look a lot more wearable for me. I will post pictures tomorrow!
DeleteI can't wait to get this collection. I am obsessed with every shade!
ReplyDeleteI'll be showing the rest of the collection very shortly! :)
