OPI's I Eat Mainely Lobster was released as a part of their Touring America Collection. it is a peachy orange shade with pink undertones and gold microglitter. This is not a normal colour that I would go for, hence why it took me so many months to try out, but I really like it! The pink undertones make it more wearable for me, and the microglitter adds a nice girly touch. The formula was great, all I needed was two coats for full opacity. I added OPI's Top Coat for some extra shine, since it did dry a little bit flat.

As you will notice, the shimmer is very subtle. It is more apparent in direct sunlight, not so much in the pictures. But take my word for it, it is really lovely! I'm really happy I finally got around to trying this shade, it makes me excited to try all my other neglected polishes! What are some polishes that pleasantly surprised you?
Disclosure: This polish was sent to me for my honest review.
very pretty color
ReplyDeleteThank you! :)
DeleteThere were a lot of comments last fall on how this shade would be a better shade for a spring time collection. The Hollywood Is My Address also is a good one to get out now from that same collection. This is a nice shade on you.
ReplyDeleteI agree, this works a lot better as a spring shade :) I really did like My Address Is Hollywood, thanks for reminding me about it! :)
DeleteI want to get my hands on this bottle. It's nowhere to be found here, sadly.
ReplyDeleteOh no! Just this shade or the whole collection?
DeleteI've tried ordering this online with no luck! Love the shade, & looks great on you!
