Julep Leah for St. Patrick's Day!

Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone! I hope everyone has had a great day and is enjoying their night :)
I chose to wear Julep's Leah for my green St. Paddy's Day manicure! This is the first time I wore this shade, let's see what I thought of it...

Julep Leah is a really bright, almost neon green polish, with faint shimmer. The shimmer is really pretty, and I like that it isn't just a straight creme polish. This would be a great shade for Spring, since it is so bright. I think that this shade would look great on darker skin tones, but on my fairer skin it's a bit too bright. The formula was ok, it took three coats for full coverage. Two coats was still pretty streaky and sheer. Even after three coats, I still have some streaks, but it isn't horrible. Julep polishes are $14 each, so at this high price tag I expect amazing quality. Overall, pretty shade, but just not for me.

How was your St. Patrick's Day? Did you wear green, festive polish?

  2. Looks good on your nails! I on the other hand have nails like a 10 yr old boy, square and tiny :( you know I tried this color, but any shade of neon green or similar color just ends up looking like dried vomit on my nails in 2 days time, gave up on it!

  3. Thanks for posting this!!! I immediately went & checked all my nail polish bottles & I don't have such a shade. I'm definitely getting one like this. Do you know of any dupes??

    1. I don't have any dupes in my stash, just because I don't normally go for neon greens! But I have seen other bloggers compare Leah to Pure Ice Free Spirit, and they look really alike!
