Shoppers Drug Mart Spend Your Points Haul!

Hey guys! So this past Saturday and Sunday was the Spend Your Points event at Shoppers Drug Mart, and I had enough points to redeem $100! Here's what I picked out :)

Shoppers Drug Mart Spend Your Points Haul!

First up: Balea Glow Sunless Tan in Medium to Dark

Baléa Glow Sunless Tan Gelee

Now that Spring is upon us, and Summer is on its way, I want to get my tan on. I've had some really bad luck with self tanner before, so hopefully this works for me! This was on sale for around $6 I believe, and I've been wanting to try it for a while so I picked it up!

The next product I got was the Marc Anthony 2nd Day Revitalizer

This is just a dry shampoo, I like it because it isn't an aerosol, it's just a pump spray! I'm excited to try this out :)

The next two things I got were perfumes, I'm currently obsessing over perfumes and I really want to build my collection!

Shoppers Drug Mart Spend Your Points Haul!

Gwen Stefani Perfume

Gwen Stefani L Fragrance - I had a sample of this in high school and I cherished it! I absolutely love this scent, and they had it on sale for only $20, which I think is amazing!

The last thing I got was the Fragrance Sampler & Certificate For Her:

Perfume

Perfume

So the idea behind this is you buy this box for $75, and you get 10 little sample bottles of various perfumes. You get to try all of them out, and then redeem your certificate for a free full size bottle of your favourite one! I think that this is a great idea as I was already debating between a few of the perfumes in the box.
Here are the scents included:

Dolce & Gabanna Light Blue
Marc Jacobs Oh, Lola!
Calvin Klein CK One Shock For Her
Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy
Vera Wang Lovestruck
Givenchy Very Irresistible Givenchy L'Intense
Calvin Klein Euphoria
Paco Rabanne Lady Million
Nina Ricci L'Air
DKNY PureDKNY A Drop of Verbena

I'm thinking I'll end up getting Vera Wang Lovestruck, I'm wearing it now and I'm really liking it! I also think the full size bottle is super cute :)

What do you think of what I picked up? I love the Shoppers Optimum program, I've been able to do a few of these hauls. I always try to pick up a big ticket item that I wouldn't have normally splurged on, in this case it's the perfume. Did you take advantage of the Spend Your Points event? :)

  4. Love the perfume box. That's a great idea. I tend to wear really light scents. I have a $10 version of Vera Wang's 1st perfume that was so popular and like it - have not smelled her current one. I went through a period where I collected a lot of perfumes. Then seemed after a yr I was only wearing the same 2 or 3 so I had a pre-garage sale. A lady down the street brought over her friends and they went through clothing and perfumes. I sold all the perfumes thank goodness before the garage sale because I am sure they would have been ripped off. I don't even like to hold garage sales anymore - no matter how many folks I have watching, I don't make enough for all the work and so much is taken. So when you do get tired of you perfumes or make a goof, let your friends know you have a ton for sale. Enough ladies - they will go. I don't think I have tried any of these. Living with a guy now who has sneezing fits over even some hairsprays. He is super sensitive. I can wear around him and in the house only a few. He does not go off from DK Cashmere Mist which is one I really like -old one. Also I can wear a couple of the Philosophy fragrances around him. Enjoy. It's fun to collect and get a nice big wardrobe of fragrances. Keep us posted on what you add and what you tend to gravitate to most often. I don't know any of the ones in this group. Sorry I cannot add my 2 cents to which one - but then they always are so personal.

    1. Oh what's the name of the Vera Wang imitation? Is it of Princess? Princess is on my perfume wishlist :)
I want to grow my collection, but I don't want it to be so large that I can't use all of them. Great idea about selling them to friends! :)
My mom is really sensitive to scents as well, so I don't wear perfume that much when I visit. Thanks for the comment :) I will let you know which one I decide on!

    1. It's alright, I've only used it once and I was left streaky. I'll try it again to see if I can get it to work!

    2. I use it with regular moisturizer - mix the two together. The tan may take longer, but no streaking!

    2. Same here... my balea has worked great! But I already have a natural tan, so it's just building on that for me. Probably helps to blend it.
