Sephora Collection Skinny Brush Wrap

I've been really interested in buying some Sigma brushes, but the shipping to Canada is ridiculously long :( I have one of their brushes (F80), and I'm loving it! But since these are all that accessible to me, I was interested in Sephora's Skinny Brush Wrap.

I really love the packaging! I think that it is so cute, and I love that it's compact, great for travel. This comes in orange, like I have, and hot pink.

This set comes with 5 brushes - Powder, Foundation, Crease, Shadow, and Angled Liner. These are synthetic brushes, which I am really happy about! I don't think that there's a need to use animals for their hair, I personally wouldn't use a natural brush no matter how great it was.

Powder Brush

This was my least favourite brush of the five. I wish that it was larger, and that the bristles were softer. I'm currently using a Quo powder brush, and it sheds like crazy, I hate it! I'm still on the search for the perfect powder brush.

Foundation Brush

I liked this brush, but I didn't love it. I'm currently loving Make Up For Ever's Kabuki Brush. Again, I wish that this brush was larger, but it was really soft!

Crease Brush

I found that the bristles on this brush were frayed, which I found with all of the brushes in this set except for the foundation brush. This bristles were soft, and I liked to use this to blend out my shadows.

Shadow Brush

I liked the shape of this brush! But again, the bristles were a bit frayed. I would have liked for this brush to be a bit bigger, but this wasn't a big issue. I actually really liked this brush to apply my shadows.

Angled Liner Brush

Again, the bristles on the brush were frayed. This brush is stiff, but not too stiff. I used this to blend and smudge out my liner. However, I'm currently loving liquid liner, so I don't really have a use for this brush at the moment. If you use gel or pencil liner I think you would like this brush.

This brush set sells for $38 USD or $46 CDN. This makes each brush to be around $9, which is actually a pretty good deal! I love the colours, and that the brushes come in a nice convenient roll. If you are just getting into makeup, I think that this brush set would make a perfect starter kit!

*UPDATE* This is now on sale on Sephora's website for $13!*

Have you used any of the Sephora brand brushes?

Disclosure: These brushes were sent to me for my honest review.
