Clinique Eye Defining Liquid Liner - Black

I've been on an eye liner kick lately! If you've seen some of my recent hauls, you'll know that I picked up a few eye liners from NARS and Urban Decay. I've been loving my new purchases, but I wanted to share an old love with you today; Clinique's Eye Defining Liquid Liner in 01 Black. I've had this liner for a long time, and every time I use it, I'm amazed that there's still product left! Clinique only makes this liner in one shade, black. I really wish they would expand the colour range, because this is a great liner! I also don't think that Sephora sells this liquid liner, so you will have to stop by your local Clinique counter to have a look at it, or online here.

I love wearing black eye liner for an everyday look, and I feel like liquid liners provide a richer, deeper colour than standard kohl pencils. If you're scared of liquid liners, don't be! They really aren't that hard to apply. I love the brush on this liquid liner, it's not the thinnest brush ever, but I'm still able to create a sharp line. If you wanted a thicker line, you can easily achieve that look with this liner.

This liner lasts on my eyes all day long, until I remove it (easily 12+ hours). I find that some liquid liners can flake off, but Clinique's stays put all day long. Now, I don't have oily lids, so I can't say how this would work on you if you do have oily lids.

Since this is a black liner, I feel like I can wear this liner with any eye look, making it an everyday staple in my makeup bag. I have created an everyday eye look using Urban Decay's Naked Palette (the original). I used Sin, Toasted, and Hustle, and Covergirl's Lash Blast Mascara.

This liquid liner is $17.50 CDN, and I think it's worth it! If you're looking for a simple black liquid liner, I'd highly suggest this one. Have you used any liners from Clinique? What is your favourite liquid liner?
