Illamasqua Stagnate

I hope you're all having a great weekend! I just painted on my first Illamasqua polish, and I'm really excited to share it with you! :)

Stagnate is from the Toxic Nature Collection, released in 2011. This is my first and only Illamasqua product, I've heard amazing things about their blushes and polishes, but I've just never gotten around to picking anything up! Stagnate (attractive name, no?) is a greige colour, a taupe with purple undertones. I really like this shade! I used three coats, as I found that with two coats I still had some bald spots and streaking. Three coats provides great colour and coverage!

This polish is an interesting mix of brown, grey, and purple, and I really like it! I think that this shade would go with any outfit, and works for all occasions! This shade reminds me of Sephora by OPI's Metro Chic, which I don't own so I can't compare! Do you own any Illamasqua polishes or other products? What do you recommend? :)

    1. I think it's more prominent in the UK, but you can buy Illamasqua at Sephora here in Canada :)

    3. My local Sephora only sells Illamasqua polishes, so their range might vary by store! :)
