MAKE UP FOR EVER Powder Blush #25

I have been absolutely loving my MAKE UP FOR EVER HD Invisible Cover Foundation, so I was really excited to try out some other products from MUFE! I've been really big into blushes lately, it's become an obsession!

MAKE UP FOR EVER's Powder Blush is a available in a wide variety of shades, there's something to suit everyone's taste. MUFE doesn't give names to their shades, which I find to be pretty annoying. I love the great names that OPI, Benefit, and NARS have, I think it adds to the appeal of the brand. I'd personally much rather have a blush named "Bella Bamba," etc., versus #25. But, I suppose that the name isn't a deal breaker! However, Sephora does give names to the MUFE products, and this one is named Pearly Orange 25.

MUFE's Powder Blushes come in a rather small compact that holds 2.5g of product (NARS blushes are 4.8g). The actual blushes can be easily removed from the magnetic pan, to be put into a separate palette if you wanted to.

I really love the packaging!

The formula of this blush was great, very pigmented, so a little goes a long way! I used a normal blush brush (from Estee Lauder) to apply this blush. This blush lasted all day on my cheeks (about 10 hours before I took it off). I normally opt for a pinkier blush, but #25 is very orange. I'm trying to be adventurous!

The MUFE blushes are $23.00 CDN for 2.5g, which is a little pricey. These blushes are very long lasting, highly pigmented, and come in a huge variety of colours. I'd recommend stopping by Sephora to swatch some of the shades to test them out for yourself :)

Have you tried anything from MUFE before? What do you recommend? Let me know in the comments below!

Disclosure: This product was sent to me for my honest review.

  3. Looks really pretty! We have not tried any of the MUFE blushes. And we totally agree with you...they need to be named! Numbers are just boring! :-)
