Mini Yankee Candle Haul!

I love candles, especially the Bath & Body Work candles, but they are expensive. I can burn through one of their large candles in two days, which can make a very pricey habit! So, I was in Bed, Bath, and Beyond the other day, and I found a more affordable option! I picked up an oil burner and a few Tarts!

These are $1.99 each, and they last me about the same amount of time as the large Bath & Body Works candles! I break off a chunk, maybe about a third, of the tart, and place it in the top of the warmer. A tea light candle goes in the bottom, to warm and melt the tart.

Bahama Breeze
Macintosh - smells exactly like apples!
Sun & Sand - smells like the beach and sunscreen :)

Meyer Lemon
Orchard Pear
French Vanilla
Vanilla Lime

I'm burning Bahama Breeze now, and I love it! The scent fills the whole room, and lasts forever. I've been burning Bahama Breeze for about 10 hours now, and I still have 2/3 of the tart! You can also buy oils to put in the warmer, and they have some great ones at The Body Shop - I'm eyeing the Satsuma one! I will still buy the Bath & Body Works Candles, but not very often. They are amazing, but very pricey!

Do you have any recommendations for scents? What candles do you love? Let me know in the comments below! :)

  1. oh my, I love TBS satsuma! it is a great smell. I haven't jumped on the tart burning band wagon but I really should, I didn't realize how much cheaper it is! I usually just buy large BBW candles like you did in the past.

    1. I love the Satsuma line! You really should try it out, it's way more affordable and equally fun :) I still love the BBW candles, their scent range is awesome, but they just break the bank!

  4. I really like using the scentsy warmers for tarts moreso than the ones with candles in them. I love the scentsy line, I have Apple Pie, Sugar Cookie, and Mocha Doodle. Awesome!!

  7. I just bought a bunch of these last month during the $1 tart sale. Bahama Breeze is one of my favorites. I love mixing pieces of different scents together. Right now I'm burning Coconut and Sweet Strawberry.
