Deep Throat is a beautiful shimmery peachy pink. I absolutely love NARS' packaging, the sleek black rubberised case is just beautiful! However, it will get dirty if you keep it in with all of your other makeup, especially loose powders. I like to keep all of my NARS products together so they stay nice and clean :)
NARS blushes have amazing staying power, my blush stays on all day long, easily 12+ hours, pretty much until I remove my makeup at night. Most other blushes that I've tried fade by mid-day. NARS blushes are also really highly pigmented, a little goes a long way. Deep Throat is very easy to apply, I never find myself looking like a clown. You can apply a little bit for a subtle look, or build it up to your liking. I just apply my powder blushes with a blush brush (mine is Estee Lauder). Deep Throat gives your cheeks a nice glow, and I think that it would flatter a variety of skin tones.
Applied fairly heavily
NARS blushes are $28 USD or $32 CDN for 4.8g. I don't think I'll ever run out of a full pan of these blushes! They are pretty pricey, but I think they're worth it. Deep Throat has been compared to Orgasm, but I much prefer Deep Throat. If you wanted me to do a comparison of the two, let me know in the comments! Have you tried any NARS blushes? Which ones do you recommend?
I can see myself wearing this shade. Especially since Orgasm works for me. Truthfully, I have a lot of O. knockoffs. Love Milani's Luminous.
ReplyDeleteIf you like Orgasm I think you'd really like this one :) They are very similar but not identical. There are a ton of Orgasm dupes!
DeleteThis looks like such a beautiful blush!! Great everyday shade, I will ahve to have a look at it the next time I'm at a counter xxx
ReplyDeleteDefinitely check it out :) I think it would look great on everyone!
DeleteI adore this blush! And it looks great on you! x
ReplyDeleteAw thanks! :)
DeleteJayme has Deep Throat and really enjoys wearing it. The only NARS blush that I have (so far) is Orgasm. I need to work on growing my NARS collection. ;)

I'm loving NARS, especially their blushes! You definitely need to expand your collection :)
Deletei stumbled onto your blog via google today when doing research for nars blush. i have decided to give it a try and am having trouble deciding where to start. i did get a blush/lip palette #8307 but am not sure if i will like it. it was a spontaneous purchase from ebay. i haven't received it yet. i am fair skinned with red hair and green eyes. was looking at angelike and found your swatches while comparing. i wanted to say you look stunning regardless of the shade/beauty product. thanks for sharing/reviews/tips. i am finding them invaluable!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your lovely comment! I'm so glad that you found my blog and that you're enjoying it :)
DeleteI'm still a huge fan of NARS blushes, and lately my favourites have been Luster (a glowy tan) and Sin (Berry with shimmer, perfect for Fall!). But really, all of their blushes are fantastic!
i am seeing that my comment is posted as unknown, that looks kind of suspect so if you would like, i can provide email address. i signed on to follow your blog (winterberry125). thanks
ReplyDeleteNo problem Holly! :)
