Smith Farms Vitamin Rich Hand Cream

Smith Farms is a Canadian brand that is new to me! I love supporting local companies, and Smith Farms is also cruelty free, hand crafted, and natural!

I was able to try out their Vitamin Rich Hand Cream. My hands have been incredibly dry lately, and I've been searching for something to sooth and protect my hands. Lately I've been loving Ahava's hand cream, but I was interested in how this one compares...

Here's what Smith Farms says about their Vitamin Rich Hand Cream -

74% Organic Ingredients

Sunflower oil brings a multitude of vitamins to your hands while castor oil provides the lightest of barriers with no greasy or sticky feel. This fast absorbing hand lotion applies beautifully, protects your hands from the elements while helping to soften them with healing aloe vera, chamomile flower water and vitamin E.

Directions:
Massage cream into hands as often as needed.

Ingredients:
Distilled water, Aloe vera, Organic sunflower oil, Chamomile water, Organic cetearyl Alcohol (and) Cetearyl Glucoside (plant sugar derived emulsifier), Organic castor oil, Vegetable glycerin, Organic jojoba oil, Vitamin E, Organic beeswax, Organic citrus Extract (Biosecur), Lavender essential oil, Peppermint essential oil.

The hand cream smells very pepperminty, but not overpowering. The scent also doesn't last too long on the hands, which I like since I wear perfume and I don't want my hand cream to overpower my perfume. The cream isn't thick, so it's probably best for the spring and summer months, I might need something a bit heavier for the harsh winter months. This hand cream absorbs well, and leaves a nice satiny feeling. My only complaint is the packaging. The container resembles a large tube of toothpaste, and I can see problems arising when there is little product left. I would have rathered a traditional tube or jar, but this is only a minor problem.

The Vitamin Rich Hand Cream costs $18.00 CDN for 75ml and can be found here. Have you tried anything from Smith Farms before? I really want to try their Marshmallow Face Cream - yum!

Disclosure: This product was sent to me for my honest review.
