My Very First Knockwurst

Another weekend has come and gone! I spent the whole weekend working, and tomorrow is my day off, so it's a bit backwards for me. I hope everyone else had a nice relaxing weekend :)

Another polish from OPI's Germany Collection! My Very First Knockwurst is a pale beige with pink undertones. I think this is the perfect colour for a conservative workplace environment or to tone down a bright wardrobe. The formula for this polish is great, I had full coverage in two coats, which is great for a light polish.

If you already have a beige or muted colour in your polish collection, this one isn't a must. I have to say that I much prefer OPI's Tickle My France-y. My Very First Knockwurst has more pink undertones than Tickle My France-y, which is more of a true beige.

I've been wearing this shade for two days now and I don't have any chipping or tip wear. I am wearing OPI's Top Coat over My Very First Knockwurst, so I'm not sure how it would fare on it's own. After wearing this for a while, I am craving a brighter colour. I like neutrals every once in a while, but I do like brighter colours!

While My Very First Knockwurst isn't overly exciting, it would make a great staple in anyone's collection! What is your favourite neutral polish? :)

Disclosure: This polish was sent to me for my honest review.

  2. Come to think of it, I don't own a neutral opaque pink polish! This looks perfect! My weekend is a little like yours too as I have Sunday and Monday off. Oh well, sometimes it's nice to have a Monday off while everyone else has to be at work!

    1. I agree, a good pale colour is hard to find if you have lighter skin!

  4. Pretty - are these out now in retail? I need to call the 1 place that does have OPI about 60 miles from me. I should be going by there in a week or so.

  5. I just got this nail color and think its absolutely beautiful! i bought it on beautysak.com along with I'm Suzi and I'm a Chocoholic and Don't Mess with OPI (the order also came with free nail tools. COOL!) I tried this one first and its a great color! it looks good with every outfit and doesn't make my skin look too pale or washed out.

  6. I like "Makes Men Blush" (another OPI).
It's a pale, sheer, but definitely pink polish that adds just enough colour to my nails to make them look put-together but is subtle enough that chips (I work with my hands a LOT) don't really show up.
I typically use only one coat, but that's because I want it to stay sheer. :-)

    1. I'm not a huge fan of sheer shades, but they are great for when you don't want chips to show, and you just need a light wash of colour! :)
