Revlon Lip Butter - Creamsicle

I've been loving Revlon Lip Butters, and I've been wanting to add more shades to my stash! Creamsicle is such an easy shade to wear, since the colour is so sheer. Some of the other Lip Butter shades are more pigmented, so it just depends on what you want out of the product. The Lip Butter range has something for everyone!

Creamsicle is a creamy light orange shade that is very sheer, just adding a light wash of colour to the lips. I find the Lip Butter formulas to be very moisturizing, they feel so light, your forget that there is something on your lips! Some lip products can feel very heavy, sticky, or goopy, but these Lip Butters are nothing like that! These feel like a traditional lip balm, but they have the added bonus of a wash of colour.

As you can see, Creamsicle provides just a sheer wash of colour to the lips, nothing drastic. Unlike some other the Lip Butters, Creamsicle isn't a buildable colour. You won't be able to acheive an opaque colour out of Creamsicle, but this doesn't bother me. This shade is more of a tinted lip balm more than a lipstick.

Creamsicle Lip Butter stays on the lips for 3-4 hours at a time, which I think is great for a drugstore lip balm! However, these Lip Butters will not stay on the lips throughout eating, drinking, etc. Another thing that I love about the Lip Butters is the packaging - the lid is colour coded to the product inside. This makes it so much easier to find the proper shade if you have multiple shades in your purse.

I love the Lip Butters, and the next time I see them on sale (sometimes they go as low as $4.99 here in Canada!), I'm going to pick a few more up! Leave me your shade recommendations in the comments below!
