Marc Anthony 2nd Day Revitalizer

Happy Thanksgiving to all of my fellow Canadians out there! I hope you're enjoying your weekend, whether or not you have Monday off :)

I purchased Marc Anthony's 2nd Day Revitalizer earlier this year, and I've been using it a lot! I wash my hair every other day, and on the days that I don't shampoo, I use a dry shampoo. The first dry shampoo I bought was the TreSemme one, and I have to admit that I really don't like it. So, I was in the market for a new dry shampoo, and this one looked good! I haven't heard anything about it in the blogging world, so I thought I'd share my thoughts...

Unlike most dry shampoos that are aerosols, the Marc Anthony 2nd Day Revitalizer is a spray. I spray this on my roots, and a spray or two all over. I don't find that I have to brush this out, which is really nice since I have wavy/curly hair. If I brush my hair when it's dry it gets really frizzy and huge! Not a pretty look. This dry shampoo has a really nice light scent, but it doesn't last that long on your hair.

This dry shampoo really does work, I can even sometimes go three days without shampooing! My hair looks clean, as if I just washed it, which is amazing. What I like most about this dry shampoo is how easy it is to use. You just spray it on and it does its work. There's no white residue, no chalky feel, no need to brush it through. Since this is a clear spray, it's a great option for anyone with darker hair.

I do find that I have to use quite a few sprays of this product to do the job. But, I've been using this every 2nd day for at least 4 months, and I still have about a quarter of the bottle left! So this definitely lasts you a while. I bought this at Shopper's Drug Mart for about $8 I believe.

Which dry shampoos do you love and recommend? Once this one is all used up, I want to try another one out, just out of curiosity. Let me know in the comments :)

  1. I love the fekkai dry shampoo. It is a white powder but my daughter with med brown hair uses it no problem. We put it in and rub it around with fingers. I can't brush it while dry either. It is pricey at shoppers at $20 but I bought it when I had one of their $10 store cards they give out frequently. We use it all the time and barely a dent in the bottle. It is a white powder though so you o need to get used to working it in but payoff is worth it
