Road House Blues & The Living Daylights

After searching my stash for some forgotten polishes, I came across OPI's Road House Blues*. I haven't worn this polish in about a year, and I don't know why! As soon as I painted it on, I fell back in love with it. You can see my original review here. After a day of wearing Road House Blues, I decided to jazz it up a bit with the glitter polish from OPI - The Living Daylights*.

The Living Daylights is the glitter in the new Skyfall Collection. This polish has silver, gold, orange, and blue hexagon glitter in a clear base. I think that this polish would look best when layered over another colour, otherwise you would have a lot of bald spots. I decided to pair this glitter with a deep navy shade like Road House Blues to really make the glitter pop!

You can choose how much glitter you want, the picture above has one layer of glitter. Like any glitter polish, you won't end up with ten identical nails. That's what I love about this kind of look, you have ten unique nails! Each nail did get about the same amount of glitter pieces, they were just arranged in different designs.

The Living Daylights would look great over any darker shade, but I also want to try it out over a bright shade too. I love this combination, and I've gotten quite a few compliments on my mani over the last few days!

As I said, you can layer the glitter for a denser look. The picture above has two coats of The Living Daylights.

I'm really liking this combination! Let me know what you're thinking about The Living Daylights and the rest of OPI's Skyfall Collection :) What other shades would you layer The Living Daylights over top of?
