Sephora by OPI And a Cherry on Top

Today I have another polish from Sephora by OPI's Tinsel Town Collector's Set*, which I originally reviewed here. And a Cherry on Top is described as an opaque maraschino cherry by Sephora, let's see if I agree...

And a Cherry on Top is a pretty bright red polish. I've mentioned before that I'm not the biggest fan of red nail polish, and I didn't particularly care for the formula of this one. I found that this polish was really thin and watery, almost like a jelly consistency. I had to use three coats for an opaque finish, and even then you can still see my nail line.

And a Cherry on Top is like a bright tomato red, which I think can look really beautiful on some people, but I don't care for it on myself. I think that I would have liked this polish a lot more if the formula was thicker and creamier, because then you might not be able to see my nail lines. If this doesn't bother you, then you might really like this colour!

Do you like Sephora by OPI's And a Cherry on Top? Are you like me and prefer thicker formulas, or are you a fan of jelly polishes? Leave me a comment below! :)

  2. I don't care for that brand either. OPI and Essie work best for me!

    1. I've had some luck with Sephora by OPI, but I much, much prefer just normal OPI! :)

  3. Thanks for leaving that comment on my blog, I couldn't find your blog url on your GFC profile.

I'm actually not a huge fan of the gel polish. I don't use OPI much but love the Chanel polishes. I've recently done a beauty products 'edit' and decided to cut out a lot of products from my stash. I've now gone for neat manicures and pedicures without any polish. I'm enjoying it so far. That red looks gorgeous on your though xoxox

I'm not a big fan of gel polish either, I find it hard to work with. I've actually never splurged on a Chanel polish!
I don't think I could go without polish, I'm obsessed lol
