Yankee Candle Fall Scents Haul

I absolutely love burning candles, especially in the colder Autumn and Winter months. Something about burning a candle is so soothing and relaxing. I adore the Bath & Body Works 3 wick candles, but I have found a cheaper alternative in Yankee Candle tarts! These tarts are $1.99 each, and some scents are often on sale at my Bed, Bath, & Beyond. Here's what I picked out!

I decided to try out some of their Fall scents, even though I normally gravitate towards lighter, fruity, and sweet scents.

Pumpkin Pie: "Sweet pumpkin, nutmeg, molasses, cinnamon, and a hint of apple in a buttery crust."

Midsummer's Night: "An intoxicating and masculine blend of musk, patchouli, sage and mahogany cologne."

Cranberry Chutney: "Fresh cranberries, orange zest, rosemary, raisins, and a touch of golden honey."

Vanilla Cupcake: "The rich, creamy aroma of vanilla cupcakes with hints of lemon and lots of buttery icing."

Black Cherry: "The absolutely delicious sweetness of rich, ripe black cherries."

Sparkling Cinnamon: "Holiday glow . . . the spicy warmth of real imported stick cinnamon with a hint of cloves."

Apple Pumpkin: "Cultivated with care . . . home-grown apples and pumpkins blended with ginger and clove."

Christmas Cookie: "Buttery rich, vanilla scented, holiday sugar cookies."

Home Sweet Home: "A heartwarming blend of cinnamon, baking spices, and a hint of freshly poured tea."

Macintosh: "So vividly real you can almost taste the unmistakable crunch."

Spiced Pumpkin: "Pumpkins baked in simmering spices of clove, nutmeg, and cinnamon, and sweetened with brown sugar."

I haven't had a chance to burn any of these scents before (except McIntosh, which I've had before), but I think my favourites will be Black Cherry, Christmas Cookie, Vanilla Cupcake, and Apple Pumpkin! I love these little tarts, because I can try out so many different scents without spending a lot of money. I also find that these tarts last forever. I use about a third of a tart at a time, I don't think there's a need to use the whole thing like the packaging says. This third of a tart keeps smelling great for about 4-6 hours, so you're looking at 12-18 hours of aroma per tart! I think these are a great, affordable candle option.

And here's how I store my tarts! I got this container last year at The Body Shop, it contained three of the small body butters. The only thing is that when you store the tarts this close together, they all start to smell alike. But this only lasts as long as they are wrapped up, once you start burning them, they all have their own unique scents again!

Let me know what your favourite fall scents are! Am I missing out on one of your favourites from Yankee Candle?
