Lush Christmas Collection - First Impressions

I received some Lush's Christmas Collection* this week, and I want to share my first impressions with you! I'm a huge Lushie, I've been using Lush products for years, and their holiday collections never disappoint.

North Pole Soap - link - "A spectacular seasonal soap with the scent of sticky, chewy cocoa absolute and peppermint in the pink part and the refreshing oils of cedarwood and cypress in the white. It's a brilliant balance of stimulating, refreshing lathers, with just a hint of luxurious, indulgent sweetness."

I love Lush's soaps, you can get them cut to any size that you want, which I think is so unique and fun. North Pole comes in both pink and white, and I have a chunk of the pink soap. I really love the scent of this soap, it's deep, and I can't wait to lather up with it!

Sandy Santa - link - "Buff, scrub and polish away dead, winter skin with Sandy Santa. Sand and sugar work together to exfoliate the skin leaving you with a toned, glowing complexion. Don't neglect those hidden parts just because they are hiding under pants and sweaters. Smooth them out and make yourself feel good with this scrubber. Plus, the orange, rosewood and sandalwood oils tone and soften skin and make you smell marvelous."

I love exfoliators, but I've never used a solid one from Lush. I'm really interested in how this works out, I hope it stays solid and doesn't crumble under the shower water. The scent is really lovely, I can't quite place it, but it's very reminiscent of the holidays!

Midnight Massage - link - "We wanted a sensual massage bar this season, so we put in the deliciously sticky, forbidden fruits of fig, quince and carob. Combined with LUSH perfumer Simon's special "Jasmine Revolution" perfume, this is a bar that is going to make you melt! We shaped it like a Salvador Dali clock to play up the pun Midnight Mass-sage; we think it's funny!"

I love the shape of this massage bar! Lush's massage bars are one of my favourite items they make, I've gone through a ton, so I'm really excited to try this one out. I can definitely smell the jasmine in this bar, it's quite nice!

Let the Good Times Roll - link - "With maize flour, polenta and a popcorn topping, the ingredients listing makes this fresh facial cleanser look more like a festive snack! We combine these ingredients to give you a very soft scrub, leaving your skin bright, clean and smooth. It is gentle enough to use on your entire body, and has a dash of cinnamon powder to warm up winter skin."

This is the only product that I've used so far, and I'm really enjoying it! The scent is just beautiful, it reminds me of holiday baking! I've only used this on the face, but I also want to try this on my body as an exfoliator.

BÛCHE DE NOËL - link - "Fans of Angels on Bare Skin will love this Christmassy take on our best-selling classic facial cleanser. Perfect for all skin types, Buche de Noel is the cleanser that’s good enough to eat (although we don’t recommend it). Named for the log-shaped French dessert, ours is loaded with fresh ingredients for glowing holiday skin. Sorry, no buttercream here! Ground almonds gently exfoliate away dead skin while kaolin clay acts as a mild, deep cleanser. Then we add almond oil and seaweed to nourish and moisturize seasonal dry patches and leave skin softer than a freshly fallen snow."

This is the only product that I received that I'm not sure about. The scent doesn't really appeal to me, but I can see that it might be one that you either love or hate. I'll have to give this a try to see if the benefits out way the scent!

Twilight Shower Gel - link - "To our Twilight Bath Bomb fans, we heard your requests. Here it is, a Twilight shower gel, so you can lather up in iridescent purple lavender and tonka bubbles. If you haven't smelled this fragrance before, you're in for a treat! It's slightly sweet with the perfect herbal balance. Wonderful to use in the evening before bed, especially on cold, winter nights. Dreams do come true!"

I'm so excited about this product! I loved the Twilight bath bomb, so I have high hopes for the shower gel. Also, there's a ton of silver shimmer and glitter in this formula, which I love!

Ponche Shower Gel - link - "A festive new shower gel to help us celebrate the season! With the fruit punch scent of petigrain, buchu and davana oils, Ponche is a wonderfully fresh body wash for those who live in warm places year-round (lucky you!) and helps the rest of us wake up with a smile on dark winter mornings. The plum extract and orange juice base keep skin soft while cleansing. It's fresh, fun and festive!"

I've heard a lot of great reviews on this scent! I think this would be amazing for anyone who showers in the morning, as the scent is so invigorating.

Popcorn Lip Scrub - link - "Mmm! A simply scrumptious sugar and salt lip scrub for the holidays. We haven't been able to keep our hands off this one. Lips can get particularly dry and flakey in winter weather, so it's especially important to exfoliate. Use this one and keep your lips sweet, smooth and tasty all season long. The sweet and slightly salty popcorn flavor will make you want to lick this scrub right off your lips; but that's okay, we do it too!"

So many people rave about Lush's lip scrubs, I'm so excited to give them a try! I'm not normally a fan of popcorn scents, but I quite like this one! I love that these are housed in a glass container, it feels quite expensive that way. Using a lip scrub is so important in the cold winter months, to keep your lips free of flakes and dryness.

So that's everything I have to share with you! I'll be sharing full, in depth reviews on the products, let me know which ones you would want to see first. Have you already picked up any of Lush's Christmas Collection, or do you plan on picking anything up? Leave me a comment below with your thoughts!
