Lush Let the Good Times Roll

Back in my high school years, I used to use a lot of skin care items from Lush. I'm not sure why I went off of them, but now I'm slowly getting back into it! Lush has released two limited edition cleansers as a part of their 2012 Christmas Collection, and I'm currently trying out both. Let the Good Times Roll* has been a stand out for me out of the Christmas Collection.

I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical about this product when I first received it. I've gotten quite used to liquid cleansers, so using a solid, rolled cleanser was a bit of a change! To use these roll cleansers, take a pea size amount in your palm, add some warm water, and create a paste. Then apply to your skin, and rub in. Let the Good Times Roll is quite exfoliating, but it is still gentle.

"With maize flour, polenta and a popcorn topping, the ingredients listing makes this fresh facial cleanser look more like a festive snack! We combine these ingredients to give you a very soft scrub, leaving your skin bright, clean and smooth. It is gentle enough to use on your entire body, and has a dash of cinnamon powder to warm up winter skin."

I absolutely adore the scent of this one! It smells exactly like the Popcorn Lip Scrub, I could smell in all day. I've been using this morning and night, and I've really been enjoying it. At night, I'll use a separate cleanser on my Clarisonic, and then finish off with Let the Good Times Roll. This leaves my skin feeling great, not at all tight or dry. I've only been using this for a few weeks, so I can't comment on the long term benefits. I wanted to get this review up soon, since this is a limited edition product!

A pot of 3.5 oz costs $12.50 CDN, which is quite reasonable. I've heard that you can stock up on these and freeze them. Since Lush products are all hand made, they all do have a sticker with the person who made the item, and the expiration date. These cleansers are good for three months.

Have you picked up any of Lush's limited edition Christmas items? I have been loving this collection! Have you tried any rolled/solid cleansers, or do you stick to liquid cleansers? Also, Lush has an amazing recycling program, when you have 5 empty black pots, like the one this cleanser comes housed in, you will receive a free fresh face mask! I have taken advantage of this program twice now, and I highly recommend that you take part as well! :)
