MAKE UP FOR EVER Rouge Artist Intense #34

This Autumn I've been playing around with some different lip colours. Normally, I only wear nude and light pink lips, but I wanted to branch out a bit more, trying out some berry and red tones. MAKE UP FOR EVER Rouge Artist Intense in #34* is the perfect shade to help you transition into deeper lip colours!

#34 is a satin finish, and applies true to colour. What I love about the Rouge Artist Intense line is that the colour applies to the same intensity as it is in the tube. These lipsticks are designed to apply in one stroke, and they really do! I found this so easy to apply, as they formula is still moisturizing and glides on smoothly.

This colour stays on my lips for about 4 hours, which I was quite impressed with. After about 2 hours I did feel the need to apply a lip balm. #34 is a beautiful light berry shade, which is why it's the perfect transition shade. Once you get comfortable wearing a shade like this, then you can start experimenting with deeper and brighter colours! This shade is also perfect for Autumn, as it is a gorgeous light berry lip.

I've been wearing this shade a ton lately, it's so easy to apply, and it doesn't require frequent touch ups. This line is available in 3 finishes - pearly, matte, and satin. I'm really wanting to try out #36 (bright fuchsia), #13 (pearly plum), #8 (matte bright red), and #17 (pearly gold).

What colours have you been loving this Autumn? Are you adventurous with your lip colours, or a little bit more conservative, like myself? :)

For me it really depends on the day.. I have nude and light pink lip colours, but also love a good rich red.

    1. Isn't it beautiful? :)
I agree, there's nothing wrong with a nude or light pink lip, but a change every now and again is nice :)

I've been wearing some different reds and berries this Fall, and I've really been enjoying them! It's a nice change from pinks and nudes :)
