Nicole by OPI All is Glam, All is Bright

Nicole by OPI has teamed up with the Kardashians again, this time for a holiday "kollection"! I have three shades from this collection, and the first one I tried out was All is Glam, All is Bright*. This is such a gorgeous polish, and the colour translates perfectly from the bottle to the nail.

I mean, seriously, how pretty is that?!

I needed just two thin coats of this polish for an opaque finish, which is great for a glitter polish like this one. This is a really fine glitter, is applies really easily, and isn't at all chunky. All is Glam, All is Bright is a mix of red, silver, blue, and pink glitter.

I was also really impressed with the brush for this polish, it was a bit shorter and wider than I remember. It made application so easy, and I only needed 1-2 strokes per nail.

If you can't tell by now, I love this polish! I think that Nicole by OPI has really stepped up their quality, because this polish is amazing. This is the kind of glitter polish that I think everyone expected from last year's OPI Muppets Collection. I love this formulation of glitter polish, I just hope it's not too much of a pain to remove!

  1. I looked at this one when I was out of town (still am) on medical while at a Target. Did not come home with it - tempted me but was not in buying mood I guess. To me this is the same kind of formulation as we saw from NOPI as Busta Mava was - the fall Target exclusive - and there was a green one in that collection like it. It's a formulation where they get a lot of little color specs to float in the base medium shade - only they are really jammed packed so you don't think there is any base color almost. The Busta Mava was a brown/taupe/mauve metallic base and this one here looks to be a silver metallic base with those same color 'spots' jammed into it. I like this formula they are doing - just like always tho - hate the NOPI bottles! They are such hogs for space in my stash - drives me nuts so I often don't buy NOPI just because of the bottle shapes...funny so many have hated that shape since they first came out with really ltd ed NOPIs in the (want to say ~1995ish when I bought my first one - and they were initially only going to be a short lived thing - you got a penny back from the retailers when you bought one and next to the little NOPI display there was a box you put the penny into - it was all a charity thing originally with the first NOPI's - and Nicole as I recall was the daughter's name of Suzie W of OPI??? I need to see if that's on the web somewhere - my mind is failing me right now on the details - but I do recall the very first NOPIs - and that friggin bottle I hated then and still hate it today like many others do! And not that much bugs me - but boy bad tech support on the phone and this bottle are way up there in things that bug me!

    1. I'm also not a fan of the NOPI bottle - the standard OPI bottle is so much more practical an I find it looks better!
I unfortunately haven't seen the Target collection, since they don't come to Canada. But, we are getting Target soon, so maybe then I'll be able to get the Target exclusives!
