OPI Stay the Night

Happy Monday everyone! I hope your week is off to a great start :)

Today I have another polish from OPI's Mariah Carey Collection, Stay the Night*, to share with you! This is another Liquid Sand polish, and I really like this one. Stay the Night is a really interesting polish, with a matte black background, with shiny red glitter flecks mixed in. I love the contrast between the matte black and the shiny red!

Once again, the formula for this Liquid Sand polish was amazing, I only needed two coats, and my nails dried fully within one or two minutes. I painted my nails right before bed, and I woke up without any sheet marks or smudges. OPI recommends skipping the top coat with the Liquid Sand polishes, so that you are left with the true effect and finish of the polish. I have used OPI's Top Coat over other Liquid Sand polishes, and I'm a fan of the glossy finish. It just depends on the look you're trying to achieve!

The Liquid Sand polishes feel gritty to touch, just like you dipped wet nails into coloured sand. I don't mind the gritty texture, since it's not rough or with any jagged glitter. I think it's worth picking up at least one of OPI's Liquid Sand polishes, and seeing how you like the formula. I'm in love with how quickly these polishes dry, and I can see myself reaching for this one when I'm in a rush.

Have you tried any of OPI's Liquid Sand polishes, or any of the new Mariah Carey shades?
