Benefit Hoola

Today I finally bring you one of my all time favourite products: Benefit's Hoola bronzer! I've been using this bronzer for a little over a year now, and it's about time I give it a proper review.

I bought Benefit's Hoola in a value set called Legally Bronze at Sephora. This kit came with a jumbo box of Hoola, containing 11g of product, when normally the boxed bronzer contains 8g. Benefit's bronzers and blushes come housed in really cute, fun boxes. They also come with rectangular brushes, but I prefer to use my own brushes.

I've been loving Hoola, since it's a matte bronzer. I love shimmer, but I can use a highlighter if I want shimmer. I like using Hoola to contour, but it's also great to use for an all over glow. I'm quite pale, and I'm still able to use Hoola. I've been applying this with a MAKE UP FOR EVER kabuki brush, which applies the perfect amount of product.

Hoola doesn't oxidise on me, and stays on my skin all day long. I find that Hoola adds the perfect amount of colour to my skin, giving me a nice healthy glow. I use bronzer every day, I feel as though it's an important step in my makeup routine. I've been using my box of Hoola every day for the past 14 months, and I'm just hitting pan now! A little goes a long way! If you're looking for a matte, natural looking bronzer, I highly recommend Benefit's Hoola.

Hoola is $36 CAD for 8g of product, available at Sephora, Shopper's, and Murale.

Have you tried Hoola before? What are your favourite bronzers? I'm also wanting to try out Too Faced Chocolate Soleil, I've heard amazing reviews on it. Please leave me your bronzer recommendations in the comments! :)

  1. I love using Hoola since I am also fair. I have incorporated bronzer into my routine because I don't like looking like a sick ghost lol. I have a mini version of Too Faced Chocolate Soleil and it is just as great!

    1. I also use bronzer so I don't look so pale!
I'll have to pick up Too Faced's bronzer once my Hoola is empty! :)

    2. The swatch looks so nice! It's not orange at all. I'll have to try this one out! I've been using Nars//Laguna. I like it, but it's the only bronzer I've really tried sooo I don't have much to compare that to!

    3. Thanks! No this bronzer isn't at all orange :)
I have a mini size of Laguna, I like it but I think Hoola is nicer :)

  2. I have never tried Hoola. I don't want a shimmery bronzer, I like matte so it looks natural. I have light skin so a lot of bronzers look orangey on me. I am loving the box design already. My favorite blush is Hard Candy Fox in a Box which happens to have the same box design. It sounds like a perfect fit for me.

My can't live without it bronzer is NYX matte Bronzer in MBB01 Light. But I am willing to try something new. I mean, it's makeup, right?!!
