Lush Tea Tree Water

I've been using my Caudalie Beauty Elixir as a toner for the past couple of months, and while I still do like it, I was wanting a bit of a change. I've recently been trying out Lush's Tea Tree Water, which is also a toner in a spray form.

From Lush

"Suffering from spots, blackheads or excess oil? Don’t fret! And most importantly, don’t use a toner laden with skin irritating alcohol. Blemish-prone skin if often more sensitive than we like to give it credit for. Treating breakouts with alcohol can actually further the problem! Our suggestion? Gently, but effectively, treat your skin with Tea Tree Water. The antiseptic tea tree oil clears out blemish causing bacteria, while grapefruit and juniper water balance oil production. Spritz your face with Tea Tree water throughout the day to refresh and keep oil under control. See? Things are looking better already"

You can use this toner by spritzing it onto a cotton pad, or directly onto your face (which is what I like to do). My skin is in fairly good condition, it isn't oily or dry, but I do get the occasional break out. Tea Tree is known to work extremely well at calming breakouts. I'm not the biggest fan of the scent of Tea Tree, so I'm happy that this toner has a fairly light fragrance.

I've found that this toner is very calming. I have allergies, and sometimes my skin feels tight and itchy, and this  product helps my skin feel normal again. I find that this spray can leave my face looking quite wet, but the products sinks in quickly. Tea Tree Water does help calm any blemishes and redness that I have.

Overall, at only $9.95 for 100ml, I don't think you can go wrong! I really enjoy skin care products with tea tree oil as an ingredient, and this toner from Lush didn't disappoint. Let me know if you've tried Tea Tree Water, or any other products with tea tree oil in them! :)

Also, Google Reader is shutting down on July 1st, so I would love it if you followed my blog via Bloglovin'! I find Bloglovin' incredibly easy to use, and it's what I use to follow blogs :)

  4. I used to love this toner when my skin was more combination oily.. Loved how refreshing it.. I'm using Clarins daily energizer wake up booster at the moment which is like no other toner I've tried coz it's slightly thicker than normak toners.. But it's really lovely and gentle on the skin..
