OPI Matte Top Coat

Pastels are all the range each and every Spring season, and I really like wearing pastel polishes. OPI just released their Matte Top Coat*, and I decided to try it over one of my favourite pastel polishes, OPI's Do You Lilac It? (reviewed here).

OPI's Matte Top Coat works to mattify any polish instantly. This top coat dries immediately, making for a really easy, quick manicure. I also found that this matte top coat lightened the colour of my polish a little bit, as you can see in the pictures. I've also used Essie's top coat before, but I find that OPI's dries much faster.

Do You Lilac It? is one of my favourite shades to wear around Easter. Really, anything pastel works for me this time of year, but Do You Lilac It? was my first OPI purchase, so it holds a special place in my heart!

What do you think about the matte nail trend? Will you be picking up OPI's new Matte Top Coat? Leave me a comment below! :)
