The Body Shop Absinthe Purifying Hand Cream

The Body Shop has recently released their new Absinthe line, and today I have their Absinthe Purifying Hand Cream* to share with you!

Here's how The Body Shop describes this hand cream:

A pure sensation for hands. This ingenious everyday cream with absinthe extract moisturises hands and leaves them feeling soft and super-fresh.
Moisturizes
Leaves hands feeling fresh
Heady Fragrance notes of bergamot, petit grain and neroli

I'm a big fan of The Body Shop's hand creams, I've tried the Hemp Hand Protector, and the Almond Hand & Nail Cream. So, I was pretty excited when I saw that The Body Shop had added a new scent to their hand care line! The Absinthe Purifying Hand Cream has a thinner consistency, and absorbs quickly into my hands. This cream leaves my hands feeling so soft, and almost velvety smooth! I don't know that this would have been my favourite hand cream in the Winter, as it is on the thinner side, but I think it'll be great in the Spring and Summer months.

The Absinthe scent is unique, and I think that it smells very fresh and clean. The scent does linger on my hands for about 30 minutes, so give this a sniff in a store before you buy it. The Body Shop's hand creams come house in metal packaging (very similar to a tube of toothpaste), which I'm not a huge fan of. This packaging does make it easy to get all of the product out of, especially compared to hard plastic packaging. However, my last tube of their Hemp Hand Protector ended up getting a tiny hole in it, which obviously wasn't great.

If you're looking for a new light, freshly scented hand cream, I definitely recommend trying this one out from The Body Shop. A 100ml tube costs $20, but The Body Shop is always running great deals. Let me know if you've tried out any products from the new Absinthe line, and your thoughts on the line! :)
