Benefit Bella Bamba

Benefit's boxed powders are some of my favourite products from the brand, and today I bring you Bella Bamba! I hauled this blush over a year ago, when I bought it in a part of Benefit's Project Flawless value set.

"This boxed blush, with a mirror tucked inside a magnetic closure flip-top lid, amplifies cheekbones and creates the illusion of sculpted features for a gorgeous 3D effect. Your face will look instantly brighter with just a quick swipe of this ultra-flattering color on the cheeks."

Benefit Bella Bamba

I love Benefit's packaging! It's always so fun, colourful, and playful.

Benefit Bella Bamba

Bella Bamba is a beautiful watermelon pink blush with golden shimmer. This blush adds a gorgeous glow to my cheeks. I think that this blush would look amazing on any skin tone. The formula is quite pigmented, but it's also very easy to sheer out. At first I thought that this blush was similar to NARS' Orgasm, but Bella Bamba is definitely more pink. I don't have any dupes for this blush in my collection!

Benefit Bella Bamba on cheeks

I use a Sigma F40 to apply more powder blushes, and I think it's the perfect brush for that purpose! The golden shimmer in this blush is subtle, but you can definitely skip the highlighter if you wanted to. Now, this blush has good staying power, but I wouldn't say that it's amazing. I find that Bella Bamba stays on my cheeks for about 6 hours before it starts to fade, and I feel the need to reapply. My NARS and Tarte blushes, by comparison, stay on for the better part of the day. However, Benefit gives you 0.28 oz of product, whereas NARS blushes contain 0.16 oz, and Tarte's contain 0.20 oz. So you can afford to reapply a bit of Bella Bamba mid-day!

What do you think of Benefit's Bella Bamba? Do you own any of their boxed blushes? So far I have Hervana, Bella Bamba, and Hoola, but I'm also really wanting Dandelion and Coralista! :)
