Benefit So Hooked on Carmella Perfume

I hope your Monday is going well so far, and easing back into the school/work week hasn't been too rough! I'm taking a study break tonight to bring you my thoughts on Benefit's So Hooked on Carmella* perfume!

From Benefit:

"exquisitely feminine floral vanilla
A poem to describe Carmella...when it comes to carmella
don't ask and don't tella light touch has admirers
under her spell her sweet sensuality
no one would guess so exquisite, enticing...
an intimate caress."

Top notes: lemon, grapefruit, rhubarb
Middle notes: cyclamen, peony, tiare flower
Bottom notes: vanilla, sandalwood, amber

I absolutely love Benefit's packaging! I think their perfume bottles are so cute and fun, yet still so simple. When I saw the official notes in So Hooked on Carmella, I was a little surprised. I personally don't smell any of the lemon or grapefruit, nothing citrusy at all! To me, this scent smells somewhat beachy, and I can definitely smell the sandalwood. This perfume reminds me slightly of my Jennifer Aniston perfume, which I adore. Benefit's perfumes don't have incredible lasting power on my skin, I find that they stick around for about 4-5 hours. This isn't a deal breaker for me, but just know that you will need to top up throughout the day.

Have you tried any of Benefit's perfumes before? Which scents do you recommend? :)

Benefit's So Hooked on Carmella retails for $36 for 30ml.

  1. Laugh With Me Lee Lee is amazing, and I want to try In The Garden of Good and Eva next. Carmella didn't really appeal to me.

  4. The bottle design wins me over without a doubt! Seems like a good price point too! You've convinced me to head over to Sephora after work to take a sniff!

    1. Definitely check this one out, and Ring My Bella too :)
I don't know if Sephora in Rideau or Bayshore carry these fragrances, but most Shopper's do! :)
