OPI Birthday Babe

I was looking through my polish stash the other day, and I came across OPI's Birthday Babe. It looked so pretty in the bottle, I just had to give it a go. I decided to paint it on my nails, and I'm quite enjoying it! :)

Birthday Babe is a metallic silver polish, and I only needed two coats for an opaque finish. This polish did dry with a lot of streaks, like many metallic polishes seem to do. This didn't bother me too much, and I can look past a few streaks from a metallic polish.

This polish isn't an overly unique colour, so don't expect anything over the top. I think this polish would be very pretty during the holiday season! This polish is also a nice change from a creme formula, and it isn't hard to remove like glitter polishes. Birthday Babe hasn't chipped on my nails yet, and I've been wearing it for three days, so that's a good start!

Overall, Birthday Babe is a nice shade, but I wouldn't say that it's one of my all time favourite polishes. Have you tried this shade from OPI before? Were you a fan or did the streaks annoy you?

  1. I have this one too. I don't know why I haven't worn it yet. I think this is a great color for summer and it definitely makes me think of June weddings.

    1. I've had it in my stash for so long before I finally tried it out! I agree, it's great for Summer :)
