Tarte Amazonian Clay Blush - Frisky

Last week I showed my Sephora Chic Week haul, in which I bought two new Tarte Amazonian Clay Blushes in the shades Frisky and Blushing Bride. I already know that I love the Amazonian Clay formula, so I was excited to add these two shades to my collection!

Frisky is a shimmering bright coral powder blush, and I find it very flattering. This blush does have golden shimmer in the formula, so you can skip the highlighter if you wanted to. I personally like shimmery blushes, as I find them fun and I like the effect that they give to my cheeks. Tarte's Amazonian Clay Blushes have great lasting power, and Frisky lasted about 8 hours on my cheeks before it started to fade. Tarte does claim that these blushes last for a full 12 hours, but I think that's a bit of a stretch.

I absolutely love the shimmer in this blush, I find it so pretty and flattering! The base shade of red in Frisky is quite similar to Tarte's matte Natural Beauty. Frisky is quite pigmented, so you only need a very small amount. I like to apply my powder blushes using a Sigma F40

Overall, I'm really happy with Frisky! This is going to be a great, bright shade to wear this Spring, and the formula is amazing as well. If you haven't tried out Tarte's Amazonian Clay blushes before, I highly recommend them. So far, my favourite shades have been Exposed, Tipsy, and now Frisky! I would love any shade recommendations that you had for other Tarte blushes, or just blushes in general! :)
