April Empties

Today I bring you another round of empty products! I love doing these empties posts, as it keeps me motivated to use up products, instead of jumping back and forth between a million products. This way I can fully use and enjoy a product, and I'm not left with a massive never ending stash of products! I have quite a few empties this month, so let's get started!

Soap & Glory Clean On Me (Reviewed here) - I really enjoyed using this shower gel! The scent was amazing, and the formula lathers up really well. I would repurchase, but I have to go through a few more shower gels in my stash first.

B. Kamins Blemish Gel 5% Sample - This spot treatment was good, but I'm not sure that I would purchase the full size.

eos lip balm (reviewed here) - These lip spheres aren't the most hydrating lip balms, but they are very convenient and great to keep in your purse.

Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter (Reviewed here) - The body butter smells amazing, very sweet and girly! The formula is insanely hydrating, and perfect for the colder months. I think this may be a bit too heavy for the Summer, but I would repurchase in the Fall and Winter.

Gilette Venus Embrace Razor - I normally stick to my electric razor, which I find is much easier to use compared to traditional razors like this one. However, every now and again I like to switch things up. This razor was good, I didn't experience any razor burn or cuts.

Upper Canada Whipped Hand Repair Balm - I really enjoyed this hand cream! I kept it on my nightstand, and used it daily before bed. It had a very heavy consistency, which is why I loved using it at night.

Sensodyne Dental Floss - I'm really trying to floss everyday, so I'm glad to see that I've used up a whole pack of floss! I wouldn't repurchase this one though, as I feel like the string is a bit too thick.

Marcelle Rouge Vitality Lipstick in Glamorama - I think this was a free gift with purchase, because I don't think I would have picked up this colour otherwise. This isn't actually all used up, but I've had this lipstick in my stash for years and years, and I don't think I've ever used it. I'm deciding to toss it because it must be expired, and I'm not a fan of the shade.

Bath & Body Works Capri Seaside Citrus Body Lotion* (reviewed here) - This scent was just perfect for Spring! The formula was really light yet moisturizing.

Elin Bianco Treatment Serum (Reviewed here) - I loved the scent of this, but I didn't feel as though it gave enough moisture to my hair. There was a time when I really enjoyed this oil, but I ended up feeling like it just sat on top of my hair. I'm currently using Josie Maran's Argan Oil, which I like more :)

Bath & Body Works Pocket-Bac in Warm Vanilla Sugar - I really like keeping these mini Pocket-Bacs in my purse, as they are handy to use on the bus, at school & work, etc. The Warm Vanilla Sugar is always great, and I am already using my back up!

Simple Replenishing Rich Moisturizer* - My boyfriend was actually the one to fully use this moisturizer! His skin is more on the dry side, so I thought he might enjoy this facial cream. I was right! This formula was a bit too heavy for my combination skin type, but I think anyone with dry skin would enjoy this.

Lush Fun - Blue* (Reviewed here) - I really enjoyed using this product! I liked to use this as a traditional soap, as I found that it lathered up really well. The scent was nice and light, and I'm wanting to try out some of the other scents in the range!

Avon Glazewear Liquid Lip Color in Darling Pink - I really enjoyed this shade! The formula was nice and creamy, and the colour was quite pigmented. I would definitely pick up other shades from this line if I was placing an Avon order!

Garnier Fructis Hydra Recharge Shampoo* (reviewed here) - I loved the consistency of this shampoo, it felt almost like a gel. This formula worked to really clean my hair while leaving my strands soft and manageable.

Herbal Essences Honey, I'm Strong  Strengthening Conditioner - This conditioner smelt really good, and I did feel as though it helped to moisturize and hydrate my hair. I'm a big fan of Herbal Essences conditioners in general, and I always make sure to pick them up when they're on sale at Shopper's!

Caudalie Lip Conditioner (reviewed here) - I bought this lip balm in a value set last year, and since then I have fallen in love with this lip balm! It's really hydrating and conditioning, and it was light enough to wear under lipsticks. I would definitely repurchase.

Bath & Body Works Fresh Picked Pears Hand Soap - I love these hand soaps from BBW, they're pretty much the only ones I use. The Fresh Picked Pears scent was amazing, and perfect for Spring!

Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment (reviewed here) - I ended up really liking this lip balm! Is it worth the $26? I still don't think so, but I really enjoyed using up my sample. I think I prefer Caudalie's Lip Conditioner, so I would repurchase that one first.

Maybelline Baby Lips in Quenched (reviewed here) - It seems as though I was on a bit of a lip balm kick this month! The formula was nice and light, yet it still helped to moisturize my lips. I love the Baby Lips line, and I would definitely repurchase this in the future.

Maybelline The Rocket Volum' Express Mascara (reviewed here) - This mascara was good, but it wasn't amazing. It did leave my lashes slightly clumpy, which I'm not a fan of. However, the volume, length, and curl were great from this mascara.

Lush Snow Fairy Lip Tint - This lip balm offered a nice hint of light pink to my lips, and was scented with Lush's famous Snow Fairy scent. I have to admit that I actually don't love this scent (don't hate me!), so I wasn't a huge fan of this lip balm, and wouldn't repurchase in the future.

Bath & Body Works Mentha Lip Buffer, Gentle Formula - I absolutely loved this product! It was gentle enough to use daily, but it still exfoliated my lips really well. I like using this in combination with my Lush lip scrubs.

Simple Smoothing Facial Scrub* - This scrub had a nice light scent to it, and was very gentle. I think anyone with sensitive skin would enjoy this scrub. However, I prefer my St. Ives Apricot Scrub or Lush Ocean Salt, so I wouldn't repurchase this scrub from Simple.

Nina Ricci L'Air, Paco Rabanne Lady Million, & Coach Poppy Flower Perfume Samples - I really liked all three of these fragrances, but Lady Million was my favourite. That one is definitely on my wishlist!

Nude Perfect Cleansing Oil Face & Eyes sample - I received this sample in my Sephora Chic Week bag, and I really loved this oil! It just melted away my makeup in seconds, and felt lovely on my skin. I would definitely purchase the full size bottle!

Now I can finally go and recycle all of my products! I already have a three products for my May Empties (one hair, one lip, and one skincare), so it looks like my May Empties post will be equally as long! I would love it if you left me a comment letting my know if you've used any of these products, and what you've used up recently :)

  1. I'm trying to use up older products before buying new ones too. I have way too much stuff (cosmetics) accumulated and wonder why I keep buying. I thought I had used that mascara too, but no it is still unopened along with 4 other brands! My favorite mascara though is L'Oreal Million Lashes. Hands down the best. I am currently trying to use Cover Girl's new clump crusher by Lash Blast, and it does not clump but the coverage is so thin and it takes too many coats to build up to a level that I like. I bought 2 since they were on a deal but I am not impressed, so I may return the second one. I love the Garnier Fructis line of shampoos and conditioners! I am using the sleek and shine with moroccan argan oil and the leave in conditioner plus the blow dry perfector, the flat iron spray, and the anti frizz hairspray. They don't weigh my fine flyaway hair down and they don't coat it so it looks dirty either. I love the Garnier Fructis line. I've read a lot of positive comments about the Lush products so I definitely want to try those after I use up all the junk I already have.

    1. I really want to try the Clump Crusher, but if it doesn't give good volume then I probably won't like it. My favourite mascara is CoverGirl's Lash Blast, but I haven't used it in a few months now. Trying to use up all of the mascaras in my stash first!
You should definitely check out Lush, they have a ton of absolutely amazing products! :)

  2. Woa! Those are quite a number of empties you have there! Good job.
Lady million does smell lovely. Have it on my Wishlist too

    1. Thanks! I never realize how many products I use up until I write these posts!
I really like the bottle for Lady Million too, it's so cute!

  3. Love seeing all of your empties!! It feels so good to use our products up!! We already have a bunch saved for our next video.

Jayme & Mendi @ Her Late Night Cravings

    1. Thanks! It does feel great to finish off products! :)
