"Cover-up goes incognito. This moisturizing crease-control concealer with vitamin E and apple seed extract hides dark circles and diffuses fine lines for a silky smooth, ultranatural look. Available in three shades, it’s proven to keep skin hydrated for six hours and won’t cake, crease, or settle." - Sephora
I use the shade Light, which matches my skin nicely, but there are 2 other shades in this line, Medium and Dark. This concealer has an outer layer that it very moisturizing, and the inner core contains the colour. At first I thought that this concealer might not be that pigmented, since the colour is concentrated only in the core. However, I was happily surprised to see that this concealer actually does cover up my dark circles!
Fake Up doesn't crease, fade, or settle into fine lines on my skin. This formula is very hydrating, which is perfect for the under-eye area. While this concealer does a great job at brightening, I don't think that it's as brightening as Maybelline's Instant Age Rewind Concealer. Sometimes I like to apply Fake Up first, and then layer Maybelline's concealer over top for added brightening.
I think that Fake Up would be a great concealer for anyone with drier skin and with slightly dark circles. I don't think that Fake Up will completely cover up very dark under-eye circles, but it still does a very good job at brightening.
Have you tried Benefit's new Fake Up Concealer? What are your favourite under-eye concealers? :)
We haven't tried this yet but have been curious! Great review!! Currently we really liked the Dream Lumi in Radiant for dark under eye concealing.
