Gladiola is a gorgeous orange/coral blush. I think this colour is perfect for Spring and Summer, and it looks amazing with a bit of bronzer or a tan. I like to apply this blush (and all of my cream blushes) with a Sigma F80. This flat top kabuki brush blends cream blushes into your cheeks flawlessly. These Convertible Colors set quickly on the cheeks, and I find the lasting power to be amazing. This formula will stay on my cheeks all day long, until I'm ready to remove my makeup at night. When applied to my lips, the colour isn't quite as long wearing, but it still does last about 4 hours.
Gladiola is a beautiful peachy orange shade, and it's not a colour that I normally reach for. However, I've really been enjoying it a lot! I love the packaging of Stila's Convertible Colors, I think they're so cute and I love that they are colour-coded. I think that this blush would work with any sort of eye look, since the colour can be sheered out to look quite natural.
Have you tried any of Stila's Convertible Colors? I own Gladiola, Sweet Pea, Peony, and Gerbera, but I already have my eyes on Petunia and Poppy! I love how all of the shades are named after flowers too :) Please leave me your shade recommendations in the comments below, or what other cream blushes you think I should try out!
That is really pretty on you. I think I would look good in this peachy orange too. I am really into orange this summer. I have never tried Stila products yet and this doubles as lip stain? Two products in one? Deal!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Orange is always a great summer colour :) You should definitely check out this line :)
DeleteI just bought Petunia and I love it! Its my first Convertible color and want to get more! I thought of Gladiola, but when I went and asked for help, the lady said it is more suited for olive skin tones and would look orange on me. She said that Petunia was not for my fair skin either and to try Lillium. Well, I bought Petunia anyways haha and it looks great on!

When I bought Gladiola the sales lady tried to talk me out of it and into another more wearable shade! How weird!
DeletePetunia looks beautiful, I definitely want to add it to my collection soon :)
Looks like we really need to try these! This is such a natural shade on you! Looks pretty!

ReplyDeleteIt looks bright and scary in the pan, but it's beautiful when it's applied! :)
