Maybelline Color Tattoo Pure Pigment - Black Mystery

Today I have another one of Maybelline's Color Tattoo Pure Pigments, this time in the shade Black Mystery*. These Pure Pigments are really easy to use, and they come at a great drugstore price.

My favourite way to apply these Pure Pigments overtop of cream shadows. I paired Black Mystery over top  of Benefit's Creaseless Cream Shadow in Skinny Jeans. Skinny Jeans is a great grey-taupe shade, and helped to create a beautiful smokey eye. The Pure Pigments easily adhere to cream shadows, and that way they stay on all day long.

These Pure Pigments come housed in little black plastic pots that contain 1.5 grams of products. The bottom of the jars are colour coded to the product inside, and the lids are black with the shade name and number. The jar itself has a clear lid with several holes, so you can easily shake out the pigment into the lid without creating a mess.

Black Mystery is a beautiful deep black shade with blue shimmer. The hint of blue shimmer makes this pigment very wearable, at least in my opinion. Black Mystery helps to create a great smokey eye for a night out, but it can also be worn in a more subtle fashion, making it suitable for daytime wear as well. I apply these Pure Pigments with a Sigma E55, which is a dense shadow brush, perfect for packing on colour.

Have you tried any of Maybelline's new Color Tattoo Pure Pigments yet? What shades are on your wishlists? :)
