This foundation is unique because the formula actually includes a primer. There's one step that you can leave out of your morning routine! This foundation pumps out what seems like a mousse, but it is actually just a thicker cream. I have the lightest shade in the line, 120 Creamy Ivory. This shade does blend in nicely to my pale skin tone, but I don't think that this foundation line will cater to anyone with porcelain skin tones.
Completely blended in
I use a Sigma F80 to blend in this liquid foundation. I have experimented with blending in this foundation with my fingers, but I think that a brush gives a more flawless finish. I use about a pump and a half of Maybelline's The Lifter Foundation to cover my entire face. This formula gives a nice medium coverage with a lightweight feel. The primer inside the formula does add to the lasting power, and I can go a full 8 hours before I see any signs of fading. I do like to set this foundation with a setting powder, which also helps to mattify. This foundation gives a slightly dewy finish, which I find really pretty.
Have you tried Maybelline's The Lifter Foundation? I love the idea of a primer inside my foundation, as one less step in the morning is always welcomed! What is your current go-to foundation? :)
