Not Your Mother's Smooth Moves Frizz Control Hair Cream

During my trip to New York City last month I picked up a few different hair care items. I came across the Not Your Mother's line in Duane Reade, and I had to pick up a few items! I don't think that the Not Your Mother's line is available in Canada, which is really sad since I'm loving the products I picked up! The Smooth Moves Frizz Control Hair Cream has quickly become a staple product in my hair styling routine.

I start by regularly shampooing and conditioning my hair. I always put my hair up in a towel once I'm out of the shower, and let my hair dry like that for a while. I then add about a pea sized amount of Smooth Moves throughout my hair. I work this through the entire lengths of my hair, including closer to my scalp. I don't find this cream to make my hair greasy or oily looking at all, so I do think that it's safe to put closer to the scalp. Also, most of my frizz is concentrated at the roots, especially when I straighten my hair.

The instructions on the bottle say to blow-dry your hair after applying the product, but I hardly ever use a blow dryer. I tend to let my hair dry over night, and then I style my hair in the morning. This product smells really nice and light, and the scent does stay in your hair throughout the day. Smooth Moves really does help to reduce the amount of frizz, and it leaves my hair feel smooth with a shiny finish. I have also added this to dry hair, and it does work well that way too!

Have you tried any products from the Not Your Mother's line? I also picked up their dry shampoo, but I haven't gotten around to trying that one out yet. Which other products would you recommend? :)
